Our client is well established within their sector and are currently experiencing strong growth fuelled by high customer demand. The Job you’ll do:
As Operations Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our operations run safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Ensuring compliance with all Health & Safety Regulations, Quality Assurance, and Environmental Procedures
Leading and coaching operational shift teams to ensure accurate reporting and handling of equipment defects and alarms
Managing site production costs, including consumables, utility usage, reagents, and waste disposal
Driving a continuous improvement culture using KPIs and lean initiatives
Ensuring seamless execution and communication of production and logistics plans
Acting as a role model and leader, motivating teams across all levels
About You:
Degree-level education or extensive relevant experience in manufacturing/engineering industries (chemical or process desirable)
NEBOSH Process Safety Certificate or recognized Health & Safety qualification preferred
Minimum 2 years’ management experience in a relevant industry (ideally CoMAH regulated)
At least 4 years of experience leading teams in an operational environment
Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
Able to take accountability and ownership of operations
Proven ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement and team development
Analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making
