The Job You’ll Do;

  • Manufacturing components in a CNC cell which includes both CNC Milling & CNC Turning Machines.

  • Setting /operating CNC lathes and CNC Milling in a one-piece flow environment.

  • Training will be provided to the successful candidate on Fanuc operating systems.

  • Accurately measure manufactured parts using conventional inspection equipment (Plug Gauges, Bore Micrometres, Outside Micrometres callipers etc.)

  • Adjust Machine offsets when required after replacing worn inserts or broken tooling.

  • Machine both Castings and Bar Stock.

  • Machine large or small batches depending on sold demand.

  • Work to tolerances of .01mm

  • Maintain safe operations by always adhering to safety procedures and regulations.

  • Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.

  • Document actions by completing production and quality logs.

  • Identify opportunities to improve processes.

About You;

  • Time served recognized apprenticeship completed, or relevant experience.

  • Experience in a demanding manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to measure using micrometres, plug gauges etc.

  • Able to read engineering drawings in metric and imperial.

  • Able to measure using CMM (Desirable).

  • Ability to program in Fanuc (Desirable).
