The Job You’ll Do;
Write up, co-ordinate, implement, and train on new standard operating procedures and ensure sign off by all relevant staff members.
Overall maintenance of the BRC quality management system in line with the current version of the BRC standard.
Maintenance of soil association accreditation and oversee all other accreditation bodies as well as attendance of the annual SA audit.
Ensure that if any changes in procedure take place for product that this is flagged for update in the company’s standard operating procedures and ensure all procedures are correctly signed off / dated and signed.
Review and follow up on supplier audits to ensure all actions are closed out by the deadline indicated
Assist with Goods In procedures
Reporting and analysis of Non-Conformances and complaints, highlighting any trends to management.
Review and oversee label and packaging versions and approvals.
Review, analyse and feedback trends for returns and complaints.
Manage technical documents on OW to be kept updated with version changes.
Organise, attend and note taking for all meetings regarding accreditation and run the annual BRC Management meeting.
Implement and monitor KPI’s in relation to accreditation, compiling data for management review.
Review and approve documents prepared and submitted by suppliers.
Organise, attend and conduct supplier full facility audits alongside technical consultant.
Oversee external product analysis with laboratories including the on-going review of high-risk ingredients.
About You;
Previous HACCP and food safety knowledge or qualifications would be beneficial
Previous food industry experience is desirable (other industries considered)
Proficient with Microsoft office applications
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Be well organisation with good attention to detail
Willingness to undergo any training required
