Mtrec’s new client opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a well-established, fast-paced manufacturing business.
In this role, you will oversee all warehouse operations during your shift, ensuring the smooth flow of goods-in, dispatch, stock movement, and storage.
You will play a key part in maintaining high operational standards, meeting customer expectations, and supporting continuous improvement across the team.
This role will be working a 3-shift pattern, Early’s, Backs and Nights

The Job you will do:
Oversee all warehouse activities during your shift, ensuring the efficient flow of goods-in, dispatch, stock movement, and storage.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through accurate picking, receiving, and dispatching of goods.
Ensure all warehouse processes are followed safely and effectively, including Health & Safety, 5S, SOPs, and relevant compliance standards.
Conduct daily warehouse inspections and maintain excellent housekeeping standards.
Manage stock rotation, perform regular stock counts, and support overall inventory accuracy.
Allocate and manage forklifts and pallet trucks to maintain full operational capacity.
Coordinate with production, planning, technical, and transport teams to maintain workflow and resolve operational issues promptly.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and encourage team participation in finding safer, smarter, and more efficient ways of working.
Lead, support, and motivate a team of warehouse and production operatives to work safely and efficiently.
Foster a high-performing team culture with clear expectations and positive reinforcement.
Promote inclusion, respect, and employee well-being across the team.
Manage team-related activities such as resource planning, holiday approvals, absence management, and performance reviews.
Escalate disciplinary and grievance matters in line with company policies.
Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members.
About you:
Experience in a warehouse supervisory role is essential.
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, stock control, goods-in/out processes, and FLT management.
Confident people leader with the ability to coach, motivate and support others.
Positive, strong mindset with the ability to remain calm and solutions-focused under pressure.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards.
FLT Counterbalance licence (essential).
Comfortable working in a busy, multicultural environment and promoting a respectful team culture.
Good IT literacy (Excel, warehouse systems) and the ability to maintain accurate records.
