The Job You’ll Do;
Responsible for the introduction of new products and suppliers, ensuring processes are followed and administration requirements as per industry and customer requirements are adhered to.
Maintain conformance to quality standards & working procedures
Performance monitoring and escalation management along with support to buyers in cost reduction activity
Working together with other departments within the business to ensure quality requirements are achieved
Monthly monitoring of supplier’s performance and co-ordinating associated progress activities
Supplier performance monitoring and reporting against KPI's as set by the business
Act as supplier development lead to improve quality and or delivery performance
About You;
Qualified to a minimum HNC level in business or engineering discipline
Full Driving Licence is desirable
Capable of working autonomously, cascading, achieving targets and objectives whilst adhering to project deadlines
Background in a high-volume manufacturing environment with knowledge of production techniques
General computer literacy with a working knowledge of all relevant software packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
Demonstrate understanding and application of quality planning processes
Knowledge of customer quality, product quality, environmental standards and its application in the manufacturing process
Highly organised, effective communicator and analytical
