MTrec Technical are delighted to be recruiting for Production Operatives to join a successful and forward-thinking organisation experiencing continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated and reliable individuals to become part of a dynamic operations team within a busy production environment.

You will play a key role in the safe and efficient running of production activities, ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and safety are always maintained.

Shifts:

  • Rotating 3-shift system (40 hours per week):

  • Shift 1: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm

  • Shift 2: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm

  • Shift 3: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am

The Job You’ll Do:

  • Operate a range of production machinery safely and efficiently.

  • Meet and exceed targets set by Operational Management.

  • Support continuous improvement and lean working initiatives.

  • Maintain compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.

  • Participate in risk assessments and contribute to a safe working environment.

  • Develop skills to enhance overall operational performance.

  • Record and report production data accurately.

  • Work collaboratively as part of a team while being capable of working independently once trained.

  • Carry out additional duties as required to support the needs of the operation.

About You:

  • Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.

  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, “can-do” attitude.

  • Ability to work unsupervised following training.

  • Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.

  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and keen to learn new skills.

  • Flexible and willing to work overtime when required.

  • Experience working in a technical or machinery-based environment.

  • Forklift Truck licence or experience operating lifting equipment.

  • Experience with overhead cranes or similar equipment.
