MTrec Technical are delighted to be recruiting for Production Operatives to join a successful and forward-thinking organisation experiencing continued growth. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated and reliable individuals to become part of a dynamic operations team within a busy production environment.
You will play a key role in the safe and efficient running of production activities, ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and safety are always maintained.
Shifts:
Rotating 3-shift system (40 hours per week):
Shift 1: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm
Shift 2: 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Shift 3: 10:00 pm – 6:00 am
The Job You’ll Do:
Operate a range of production machinery safely and efficiently.
Meet and exceed targets set by Operational Management.
Support continuous improvement and lean working initiatives.
Maintain compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
Participate in risk assessments and contribute to a safe working environment.
Develop skills to enhance overall operational performance.
Record and report production data accurately.
Work collaboratively as part of a team while being capable of working independently once trained.
Carry out additional duties as required to support the needs of the operation.
About You:
Previous experience within a production or manufacturing environment is highly preferred.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, “can-do” attitude.
Ability to work unsupervised following training.
Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
Self-motivated, adaptable, and keen to learn new skills.
Flexible and willing to work overtime when required.
Experience working in a technical or machinery-based environment.
Forklift Truck licence or experience operating lifting equipment.
Experience with overhead cranes or similar equipment.
