MTrec Technical are proudly representing our prestigious engineering client in their 2026 recruitment initiative with the recruitment of a permanent Offshore Decommissioning Manager to strengthen their team. The job you’ll do:

  • Lead offshore decommissioning projects from cradle to grave

  • Drive delivery excellence between clients, subcontractors, site teams, and senior management

  • Taking ownership of business development, tendering, delivery, and completion.

  • Build and deepen existing client relationships across all areas of the business

  • Take ownership of tendering activity - pricing and coordinating submissions

  • Support the commercial teams with valuations and identify any variations early

  • Maintain programmes and present reports at client progress meetings

  • Contribute to weekly ops meetings, chair meetings with Site Management

  • Ensure contractual and legislative compliance

  • Embed safe systems of work (RAMS, POWRAs, daily briefings etc.)

  • Collaborate with HSE, Environmental, Technical, Commercial and Bid teams

About you:

  • 3+ years’ experience in offshore decommissioning projects at management level

  • Relevant Engineering qualifications (Degree, HNC, HND, NVQ) or equivalent experience

  • The ability to build credibility with clients and partners

  • Experience tendering and coordinating submissions

  • Strong project management skills from early stages through to completion

  • Familiarity with RAMS and site safety leadership
