MTrec recruitment are recruiting a junior mechanical technician to join a well established and expanding manufacturing business based in the heart of Stockton.
This role will be a permanent day shift role and support a wider team of technicians in maintaining and repairing critical production equipment. If you meet the person specification below, apply now for an immediate response!
The Job you will do:
Day to day maintenance that ensures the smooth and efficient running of the company premises and plant.
To continually improve machine efficiency and reliability.
To ensure the house keeping in the team working area is of the best possible standards, providing a safe, clean and tidy environment always.
Consistently meeting daily targets.
Ensuring the accuracy of data and the adherence to procedures and working practices by operatives operating computer systems and meeting the requirements of ISO9001.
Operation of equipment necessary for the maintenance of Company premises and plant to the necessary quality and health and safety standards.
The control of materials, tools and personal protective equipment used within the working environment.
Observation of and improvements to the Health and Safety regulations relating to the tasks carried out.
About you:
Level 2 NVQ Diploma in performing engineering operations
Experience of working with Hydraulics, Pneumatics and basic electrical work.
Ability to use a variety of hand tools
A methodical approach to work, and strong problem-solving skills.
