 We are proudly representing our client in their search for an experienced Electronics Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and hands-on professional with a passion for precision, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

You’ll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a range of electronic equipment, ensuring all systems perform to the highest standards of quality and reliability.

The Job You’ll Do:

  • Carry out repair and maintenance on electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards (PCBs).

  • Use soldering and rework techniques to service and refurbish electronic components.

  • Read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics to support fault diagnosis and repair.

  • Troubleshoot issues at the component level using test equipment and diagnostic tools.

  • Apply knowledge of components including SMT/SMD, PTH, and other key electronic parts.

  • Maintain detailed records of all repair and maintenance activities.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to support technical projects and meet operational deadlines.

  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.

About You:

  • A detail-oriented and methodical approach to fault-finding and repair.

  • Strong technical understanding of electronics, circuits, and component-level troubleshooting.

  • Hands-on experience using test instruments and hand tools.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude to continuous improvement.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.

  • A qualification in Electronics or a related technical field (degree or diploma preferred).

  • Previous experience in an electronic repair or maintenance role (minimum 3 years desirable).

  • A valid UK driving licence is preferred.
