You’ll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing a range of electronic equipment, ensuring all systems perform to the highest standards of quality and reliability.
The Job You’ll Do:
Carry out repair and maintenance on electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Use soldering and rework techniques to service and refurbish electronic components.
Read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics to support fault diagnosis and repair.
Troubleshoot issues at the component level using test equipment and diagnostic tools.
Apply knowledge of components including SMT/SMD, PTH, and other key electronic parts.
Maintain detailed records of all repair and maintenance activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to support technical projects and meet operational deadlines.
Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards.
About You:
A detail-oriented and methodical approach to fault-finding and repair.
Strong technical understanding of electronics, circuits, and component-level troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience using test instruments and hand tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude to continuous improvement.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
A qualification in Electronics or a related technical field (degree or diploma preferred).
Previous experience in an electronic repair or maintenance role (minimum 3 years desirable).
A valid UK driving licence is preferred.
