The Company you will be working for;
MTrec Commercial are proudly representing our industry leading client on their search for an experienced Transport Planner to join their expanding team on a full-time permanent basis. If you feel you have the requires skills and experience, then please apply for an immediate response!
The Role you will be doing:
Successfully manage an established and reputable HGV fleet
Successfully plan and maintain an HGV fleet
Ensure clear and pro-active communication with drivers and customers alike
Costing and planning routes for the HGV fleet
Ensuring excellent administration at all times throughout planning and execution
Laise with contractors as and when required
Representing our client’s brand in a professional and diligent manner at all times
Managing sub-contractors when required to do so
Monday to Friday working hours, optional hours of 6.30am -4.30pm or 7am – 5pm.
About You;
Proven experience working with HVG Fleet
Proven transport planning experience
Costings and financial experience in regards to transport planning
Extremely comfortable dealing with customers, drivers and clients
Previous route planning experience
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Excellent planning ability
Knowledge and prior experience of curtain sizes and similar related aspects hugely beneficial
