The Job You’ll Do:

  • Liaise with the Works Office as required to support operational needs.

  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers.

  • Work closely with engineering/maintenance to support operational requirements.

  • Oversee the administration of the stores department.

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Stores and support maintenance planning

  • Drive continuous improvement in Stores and inventory control

  • Control the procurement of materials

  • Manage and monitor the inventory system to ensure stock accuracy and accountability.

  • Prepare stores performance reports

  • Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure smooth processes.

About You:

  • Experience working in a similar role within an engineering/manufacturing environment

  • Ideally have experience supporting a maintenance department (stock & planning)

  • Educated to GCSE level or above

  • Computer literate including Word, Excel (All round IT skills)

  • Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling around the site

  • A valid FLT license is desirable
