The Job You’ll Do:
Liaise with the Works Office as required to support operational needs.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers.
Work closely with engineering/maintenance to support operational requirements.
Oversee the administration of the stores department.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Stores and support maintenance planning
Drive continuous improvement in Stores and inventory control
Control the procurement of materials
Manage and monitor the inventory system to ensure stock accuracy and accountability.
Prepare stores performance reports
Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure smooth processes.
About You:
Experience working in a similar role within an engineering/manufacturing environment
Ideally have experience supporting a maintenance department (stock & planning)
Educated to GCSE level or above
Computer literate including Word, Excel (All round IT skills)
Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling around the site
A valid FLT license is desirable
