The Job you’ll do:
Ensure the manufacturing processes runs reliably and efficiently to agreed KPIs.
Delivering against stringent on time and in full targets. (OTIF)
Support the execution of delivery of the production plan/schedule, meeting quality and delivery expectations, ensure that best working practices are always maintained.
Conduct regular reviews logging actions ensuring these are drawn to a successful closure through the daily Production meeting.
Undertake continuous training and development.
Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems.
Ensure all company and departmental H&S procedures are strictly adhered to by all team members.
Ownership of the production plan and its implementation.
Ensure all housekeeping requirements are met for the workplace.
Conduct regular 1:1’s with your team and support their needs where required.
Investigate and rectify any staff performance issues and work with HR to manage disciplinary issues.
Ensure team members are adequately trained and provided with the correct tools to carry out the tasks.
About You:
5 years’ experience working in Production/planning management.
Extensive hands-on experience of managing production, warehousing, and assembly, preferably in electrical industry.
Knowledge of electrical fitting/panel wiring/panel building (desirable).
Ability to analyse data to drive performance.
A successful track record in mentoring and developing emerging talent.
A proven continuous improvement skill set.
Strong, passionate, and motivational leadership and communication skills with the ability to build a culture of succession.
An innovative and customer focussed approach.
Lean Manufacturing experience essential.
Full driving licence.
