Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are now looking to recruit a Production Planner on a permanent basis.
This could be an ideal role if you are a Junior Planner or recent Graduate who is at the start of their Planning career.
The Job you’ll do
To complete a range of routine and non-routine order scheduling processes to direct production, with the intent to fully support customer requirements.
Ideally the successful candidate would have several years’ experience in a previous planning role, however, consideration would be given to a candidate with excellent IT skills (e.g. Excel, Power Bi etc) coupled with a flexible/adaptable attitude to a new challenge.
Checks customer orders and clarifies demand issues and deviations to previous volumes.
Enters order data into the respective planning systems.
Liaises with other departments (eg. production, warehousing) to ensure schedules are met.
Prioritises, plans and schedules production orders and plans the respective resources needed (in Logistics or Production).
Support outbound delivery time schedules in co-operation with clients.
Supports (where required) administration of outbound deliveries.
Responds to customer and stakeholder requests for information.
Maintains appropriate documentation and prepares respective reports.
May assist in inventory management to support the planning process.
Supports regular internal and customer meetings.
About You
Experience in a similar role within automotive environment would be beneficial.
Attention to detail.
Good knowledge of Excel.
Flexible approach.
