The Job you will do:

  • Develop and launch new retail product ranges, managing the full product lifecycle from concept creation to launch.

  • Work with manufacturing partners to create and refine product concepts, ensuring all critical paths are tracked and delivered on time.

  • Organise and manage product samples, ensuring timely delivery to customers.

  • Collaborate with the Commercial team to build customer-focused product ranges that support sales growth and margin targets.

  • Review consumer insights to influence product direction and category expansion.

  • Act as a key point of contact for Sales, Technical, and Operations teams for all product-related queries.

  • Work with the Marketing team to track market trends, analyse competitor activity, and benchmark current product ranges.

  • Conduct in-store and online reviews to ensure the range remains relevant, competitive, and innovative.

  • Support onboarding of new manufacturing partners, collaborating with Technical and Innovation teams through the approval process.

  • Attend site visits, supplier meetings, and food exhibitions within the UK and abroad.

  • Support the Technical team with product quality checks, ensuring robust standards and product integrity.

  • Participate in taste panels and quality evaluations.

  • Maintain accurate and organised documentation to support BRC audit requirements.

  • Work closely with Supply Chain to identify and mitigate risks related to raw materials and product development.

  • Deputise for the Head of Product & Innovation at internal meetings, presenting project updates to wider teams.
