The Job You’ll Do;

  • Direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the testing area.

  • Ensure all tests are properly prepared, executed, and concluded in accordance with SOPs

  • Analyse and interpret customer technical specifications and requirements.

  • Plan and schedule both internal and external testing activities, including effective resource allocation.

  • Own and manage the functional test plan, contributing to the overall project schedule.

  • Ensure scheduled preventive and planned maintenance activities are completed effectively.

  • Maintain, track, and update the test request database to ensure accuracy and visibility.

  • Apply robust testing methodologies and data analysis techniques.

  • Oversee the collection and management of test data from internal, regional, and third-party sources.

  • Compile, evaluate, and present comprehensive test reports with clear data-driven insights.

  • Lead the procurement and/or development of test fixtures and equipment.

  • Ensure full compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies.

  • Support team training initiatives and contribute to ongoing technical capability development.

  • Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance and cross-functional teams

  • Drive KPI achievement through effective resource planning and team development.

About You;

  • HND qualified or higher in a relevant engineering discipline (Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering).

  • Extensive experience within a manufacturing or engineering test environment.

  • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and associated components.

  • Strong technical testing expertise, including software applications, acoustic analysis, thermodynamics, and instrumentation.

  • Excellent verbal communication and technical presentation abilities.

  • Skilled in preparing clear, precise, and comprehensive technical reports.

  • Highly organised, self-driven, and proactive in approach.

  • Advanced problem-solving skills with solid engineering analysis capability.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Able to work independently with flexibility and minimal supervision.

  • Willing and able to travel within the UK and internationally as required.

  • Effective collaborator with R&D, Development Engineering, and global cross-functional teams.
