The Job You’ll Do;
Direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the testing area.
Ensure all tests are properly prepared, executed, and concluded in accordance with SOPs
Analyse and interpret customer technical specifications and requirements.
Plan and schedule both internal and external testing activities, including effective resource allocation.
Own and manage the functional test plan, contributing to the overall project schedule.
Ensure scheduled preventive and planned maintenance activities are completed effectively.
Maintain, track, and update the test request database to ensure accuracy and visibility.
Apply robust testing methodologies and data analysis techniques.
Oversee the collection and management of test data from internal, regional, and third-party sources.
Compile, evaluate, and present comprehensive test reports with clear data-driven insights.
Lead the procurement and/or development of test fixtures and equipment.
Ensure full compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies.
Support team training initiatives and contribute to ongoing technical capability development.
Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance and cross-functional teams
Drive KPI achievement through effective resource planning and team development.
About You;
HND qualified or higher in a relevant engineering discipline (Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering).
Extensive experience within a manufacturing or engineering test environment.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and associated components.
Strong technical testing expertise, including software applications, acoustic analysis, thermodynamics, and instrumentation.
Excellent verbal communication and technical presentation abilities.
Skilled in preparing clear, precise, and comprehensive technical reports.
Highly organised, self-driven, and proactive in approach.
Advanced problem-solving skills with solid engineering analysis capability.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Able to work independently with flexibility and minimal supervision.
Willing and able to travel within the UK and internationally as required.
Effective collaborator with R&D, Development Engineering, and global cross-functional teams.
