The Company
Our client is a market leading engineering company. Due to growth, they are now looking to recruit a HGV Driver.
The Role
Is a permanent role with an immediate start.
Operating large articulated lorries for long-haul transport.
Delivering and collecting the company’s products across the UK.
Route planning.
Ensuring load safety.
Supervising loading/unloading.
Vehicle checks and coordinating deliveries.
Includes on average 9 overnights per month.
The Person
Must have Class 1 Driving Licence-Category C+E, Driver CPC and digital tacho card.
Experience working within HGV driving role.
Strong attention to detail, ensure trailers are loaded safely and securely.
Complete daily defect sheets.
Comply with the requirements of legislation and operating procedures relating to the use of drivers hours and working time directive.
Follow all company operational procedures.
Excellent customer service skills.
