The Job You’ll Do.
Monthly reporting to parent company in accordance with Group reporting requirements including achieving all required deadlines.
Ensure any new accounting / tax / other finance procedures rolled out by parent company, adhere to local requirements and adapt where required, ensuring that everyone is informed.
Ensure successful implementation of any new external accounting or tax standards and regulations, ensuring that everyone is informed.
Manage general ledger team.
Key user for ERP general ledger
Responsible for annual audits /preparation of Statutory accounts
Ensure all balance sheet reconciliations are complete and accurate. Covering Fixed assets/Expenses/Payroll
Ensure all external reporting is completed. VAT/CIS /Intrastat/Government Statistics
Provide support to team members.
Provide cover and support for Head of shared services as appropriate.
About You;
Previous suitable financial management experience is essential.
Ability to make decisions.
Able to work on own initiative and manage prioritize workload.
Experience of managing a small team.
Manage projects and implement process improvements.
Knowledge or previous experience of using ERP systems
Knowledge of current Accounting Standards & practices.
Professional accounting qualification.
Advanced Excel.
Ability to adhere to strict deadlines.
Training other finance team members.
