Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are looking for as Metal Fabricator to join them on a permanent basis.

The Job you’ll do

  • As a Welder / Fabricator, you will play a crucial role in manufacturing components with the utmost precision.

  • You will work with a variety of metals, including stainless steel and aluminium to produce high-quality welded and fabricated components.

  • The role requires close collaboration with our production and engineering teams to ensure products meet stringent specifications and quality standards.

  • Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metals.

  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate components accurately.

  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to maintain optimal workflows and meet project deadlines.

  • Working with various sections, plate, laser cut and machined components 1-30+ mm thick.

  • Conduct quality checks and inspections to ensure all work meets industry and company standards.

  • Follow safety guidelines and contribute to a safe working environment.

About You

  • Time-served Welder or Fabricator (using MIG or TIG), with a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Fabrication / Welding or equivalent and proven experience in a manufacturing or engineering setting.

  • Demonstrated experience with variety of metals including stainless steel and aluminium.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

  • Good communication skills to support collaboration within production.

  • Remuneration: £15.00 - £16.00 per hour depending on experience.

  • 39 hours over 4 days.

  • Overtime at 1½.
