The Company you will be working for;

Our client is an established and successful company based in Shildon. They are currently looking for an Administrator to join their team. If you are interested and meet the person specification of the job role, please apply below.

The Job You’ll be Doing

  • Liaise and communicate effectively with all levels of staff.

  • Ordering and replenishing office supplies where needed.

  • Perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the office.

  • Assisting with copying, scanning, faxing, emailing.

  • Preparing meeting facilities, and arranging refreshments, if required.

  • Responsible for the onsite company vehicle booking system and employee driver screenings.

  • Inputting suppliers and sales invoices in to finance database.

  • Manage Postal services both incoming and outgoing to ensure reach correct destination internally and externally.

  • Maintain an organized and tidy office space, including keeping stores cupboard tidy and easy to access.

  • Book meeting rooms and supporting facilities when requested.

  • Ensure all initial queries are dealt with efficiently and courteously.

  • Update information for display boards and digital platforms around the site.

  • Complete adhoc admin tasks to support a wide variety of stakeholders at the site as and when requested.

About You

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills

  • Able to maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy

  • Self-motivated, methodical, well organised and has a positive attitude

  • Effective organisational skills

  • Ability to prioritise own tasks

  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal stakeholders at site level

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to take direction

  • Confident in the use of Microsoft office and in-house IT systems

  • Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred
