Our client are specialists in their market sector, they are now looking to recruit a Validation Engineer on a permanent basis.

The Job you’ll do

Creates test specifications and co-operates with internal/external stakeholders to evaluate and improve the intended product use.
Design, setup and operation of test apparatus, covering mechanical, electrical and control related aspects.
Evaluates and presents the results as well as providing input on improvements and solutions.
Creates the respective reports and shares as required
Assist in the development of validation programs for alternatively applied systems and subsystems.
Supports the preparation of the test and the testing environment.
Checks the test program and executes the respective sequences of tests
Contributes to the collection of data and quality of the test results by providing informed feedback regarding the functionality of the tested system.
Builds prototype components and assemblies via controlled and carefully recorded method
Completes teardown and analysis procedures on post-test assemblies to understand and report on failure mechanisms

About You

Suitable qualifications and or relevant experience in a suitable engineering field.
Proficient skills related to mechanical, electrical and instrumentation disciplines.
Proven experience in testing and fault finding.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft office suite including excel, word, and PowerPoint.
Experience in completing data post processing and analysis is desirable.
Experience working with CAN bus (Controller Area Network) based products is desirable.
Experience in instrumentation and controls is desirable.
Experience using manual machines (milling machine & lathe)
Strong communication skills both written and verbal, able to work individually or in a team and able to communicate at all levels confidently

Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team
Reliable and flexible in their approach to everyday work requirements
