The Job You’ll Do;
The management of direct reports including but limited to, recruitment, performance management, reward and recognition & training and development.
Planning, coordinating and deploying technical resource to achieve operational goals and objectives
Organising and delivering planned maintenance on-time utilising available resources
The achievement of KPI’s (including but not limited to; planned maintenance adherence and time spent on planned maintenance).
The prioritisation and close out of routine activities including but not limited to; ZIP audits, training compliance, layered audits, skill development and housekeeping audits.
Driving collaborative and cross functional working
The management of the engineering stores area for equipment and tools.
Self and direct report’s adherence to quality standards and requirements, including all QMS related items.
Self and direct reports’ adherence to all legal and safety requirements including; PUWER Power press regulations, lifting and slinging
Champion the intervention process and procedure.
Identify and intervene on issues that may affect the operation, escalating when needed
Leading planned maintenance activities, including technical improvement activities.
Self and direct reports’ adherence to and entry of RPO and MTTR data (documentation of jobs/hours completed through electronic reporting methods)
The completion of housekeeping and maintaining cleanliness within own and related areas
Supporting the repair and maintenance of all process and facilities equipment in a timely manner.
Supporting the effective diagnosis and timely repair of production process equipment to maximise machine availability
Supporting scheduled and planned maintenance to reduce breakdowns and improve equipment performance and reliability.
Supporting the facilities management of industrial service equipment.
About You;
Have served a recognised apprenticeship in Die Maintenance or Toolmaking (Desirable)
Have high level of technical competency
Communicate across all levels of the business
Organize, prioritize workload based on criticality to business requirements.
Be strong people manager, working to best practice and in line with business and legal requirements.
Be professional and methodical approach to problem solving
Cross-functionally/collaboratively driven to support achievement of shared goals and objectives.
Be autonomous and have leadership abilities
