The Job You’ll Do;

  • Commissioning of systems inc. FAT and successful witness testing.

  • Liaise with customers on technical queries, taking responsibility to resolve, fault find and troubleshoot the PLC programme.

  • Develop new robust test procedures and commissioning documentation

  • Ensure clear and concise communication with customers.

  • Carry out on site training activities for Customer

  • Safe & Efficient operation of system/product

  • Basic routine maintenance of systems/products

  • Review and complete method statements and risk assessments where required.

  • Be active in department metrics: Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, Productivity

  • Complete and comply with IR code of ethics.

  • Play key role in the following of the company EH&S processes and procedures.

  • Drive the six sigma and 6S programmes on the test site.

About You;

  • HNC in an Electrical or PLC engineering discipline, or equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge of P&ID drawings, pump technology, gas, hydraulic and process systems.

  • Knowledge of ATEX/IECEx or qualification

  • IPAF Qualification

  • PLC interrogation experience/basic understanding

  • Software knowledge (e.g. Siemens/Mitsubishi)

  • Knowledge of programming language (such as Ladder Logic, ST, SFC, Function Block)

  • Knowledge of HMI screen programming

  • Knowledge of SCADA systems

  • Knowledge of Butech products

  • Ability to travel when required (UK & abroad)
