The Job you’ll do
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Technical Sales Support Specialist to join our commercial team.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background combined with excellent. communication skills to effectively support out sales process.
This role involves working in close partnership with our customers to provide technical support to our customers, ensuring the successful implementation of the clients products.
Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support to the sales team and customers.
Assist in the preparation and delivery of technical presentations.
Address technical inquiries and trouble shoot issues related to the development of our products and solutions.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop and deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs.
Creation of sales proposals, quotes and technical documentation.
Conduct market research to identify potential customers and support lead generation efforts.
Maintain a deep understanding of the client product portfolio, including features and applications.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies.
Provide feedback to the product development team based on customer insights and market demands.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted technical advisor
Conduct on-site visits to evaluate customer needs and provide technical guidance.
Support customer training sessions and workshops on product usage and maintenance.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, technical issues and resolutions.
Generate regular reports on sales activities, customer feedback and market trends.
Contribute to the development of technical manuals, guides, and training materials.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (desirable).
Minimum of 3 years experience in technical sales support, preferably in the automotive sector.
Strong technical knowledge of emission control technologies and products.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to understand and explain complex technical concepts.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant tools.
Ability to travel as need to support sale activities and customer engagements.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organisational abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Adaptability and willingness to learn innovative technologies and industry trends.
