The Company:
We are currently seeking proactive and reliableStorekeepersto join our clients team. This is a great opportunity for individuals with strong organisational and communication skills who thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This role has the potential to become permanent after a 12-week period for the right candidate.
This is not your standard warehouse role — the successful candidate will need to absorb and retain technical information quickly, work independently, and liaise effectively with internal departments under pressure. Full training will be provided.
The Role:
Accurately record deliveries, issues, and returns using the internal CFS computer system
Match goods received with delivery notes and ensure accuracy
Unload deliveries from suppliers and internal departments
Ensure timely onward delivery of goods and maintain site security
Issue goods to Engineering Department employees per request notes
Maintain stock levels and complete stock takes as required
Keep stores clean, tidy, and organised at all times
Deliver fault materials to site (subject to driver training and insurance requirements)
Participate in standby availability rota after training, serving internal customers with minimal support
The Person:
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
(essential)
Flexible to travel between sites
Strong understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace
(essential – will be assessed at interview)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Good customer service mindset
Comfortable with using IT systems for inventory and reporting tasks
Experience in a Stores or Warehouse role
Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence
Full, clean UK Driving Licence
Solid understanding of workplace Health & Safety procedures
Overhead Gantry Crane operation experience
Experience using IT-based inventory systems
Stocktaking knowledge and experience
