The Job You’ll Do;
Manage a team of 12 Production Controllers who are relatively self-sufficient.
Act as a point of escalation between the Production Planning team and the Production & Logistics Manager.
Monitoring stock levels of materials and parts via a new corporate SAP system, ensuring sufficient stock to meet customer demands.
Resolving customer enquiries/issues if and when required, although working to protect customer supply as much as possible.
Liaise with various internal departments (Operations, Logistics, Production etc.)
Creation of daily plans, ensuring day-to-day tasks are completed to a high standard.
Ensuring completion of handovers between shifts so production can operate effectively.
About You;
Experience working within fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing.
Experience as a Production Planner would be beneficial but other relevant career routes would be considered.
Must be a quick thinker, able to make decisions with a sense of urgency.
Strong character, with the ability to manage a team of 12 production planners.
Adaptability is key, responding quickly to sudden unforeseen issues.
Comfortable working on several projects simultaneously.
Diligence to ensure urgent matters are not left unresolved between shift handovers.
