MTrec’s New Opportunity;

MTrec’s prestigious engineering client is looking to recruit a new Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing organisation. The successful candidate should be experienced, self-motivated, and will be responsible for assisting clients with design services. Projects generally have one to two months design periods and are varied in nature, giving the appointed candidate an ever-changing and interesting range of design duties.

The Job You’ll Do;

  • Undertake and deliver high quality detailed engineering design including calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, diagrams, models, specifications, and other related documents.

  • Responsible for systems design including: LV Distribution Systems, lighting and emergency lighting, small power, fire alarms and detection, security, IT and communications, lightning protection and standby power supplies

  • Establish working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, as well as the company’s clients.

  • Contribute to meetings with clients, the project team, contractors and other stakeholders.

  • Act as a mentor and lead less experienced colleagues.

About You;

  • Degree qualified or equivalent academic qualifications/experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

  • Experience with Amtech, Hevacomp and AutoCAD is advantageous

  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Be able to establish and maintain strong working relationships

  • Be able to meaningfully contribute to meetings with key stakeholders

  • Good knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, regulations, guides, and all-round good practice.
