The Job you will do:
Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, production and other relevant stakeholders to identify and maintain critical assets
Optimize preventive (condition and time based) and proactive maintenance programs considering effectiveness and costs
Analyse error and failure data to identify, prioritize and implement corrective actions to improve overall asset efficiency
Ensure the measurement of results to drive improvement measures
Use relevant methodology to determine appropriate inspection, condition monitoring and preventative maintenance actions
Work cross functionally to ensure work is carried out using effective procedures and determine correct spare parts availability
Collect, process, analyse and supplement process and system data to optimize the overall efficiency of the systems
Ensure engineering stores are maintained at correct levels to ensure PM’s can be carried out and the effect of breakdowns minimised
About you:
It is essential you have proven experience in a reliability engineering role.
You will also have extensive experience of utilising reliability methodologies to identify root causes and implement permanent solutions.
It is essential that you are a time served engineer
Experience of managing critical parts stores and stock levels is highly desired.
You will also be experienced in the use of FMEA methodology to determine appropriate inspection, condition monitoring and preventative maintenance actions.
Experience within manufacturing/engineering industries is essential.
You will be a team-player, commercially aware, self-starting and change orientated with a high level of communication skills
You will possess a demonstratable, methodical and systematic approach to problem solving.
Computer literate with a good, up-to-date knowledge and understanding of systems, data interfaces and the operational use of spreadsheets and databases
Demonstrate leadership and change management abilities
