The Job You’ll Do;
Reporting to the Production Manager
Responsible for a team of between 8-12 staff
Overseeing day-to-day manufacturing and workshop operations, ensuring production runs smoothly
Responsible for the recording of working hours against production jobs.
Ensuring all H&S and ISO processes are adhered too.
Allocating jobs to employees
Regularly assessing training and ability needs.
About You;
5+ years’ experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing/engineering environment
Willingness to be hands-on the shop floor if needed
Lean manufacturing experience is beneficial
Valid FLT license is desirable but not essential
Experience welding or using hand tools (power/pneumatic) is desirable
Health and safety awareness is essential
Ability to read engineering drawings
Strong attention to detail.
