The Job You’ll Do;                              

  • Reporting to the Production Manager

  • Responsible for a team of between 8-12 staff

  • Overseeing day-to-day manufacturing and workshop operations, ensuring production runs smoothly  

  • Responsible for the recording of working hours against production jobs.

  • Ensuring all H&S and ISO processes are adhered too.

  • Allocating jobs to employees

  • Regularly assessing training and ability needs.

About You;                              

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing/engineering environment

  • Willingness to be hands-on the shop floor if needed

  • Lean manufacturing experience is beneficial

  • Valid FLT license is desirable but not essential

  • Experience welding or using hand tools (power/pneumatic) is desirable

  • Health and safety awareness is essential

  • Ability to read engineering drawings

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • IT Literacy
