The Job You’ll Do;

  • To lead by example and take responsibility and accountability, in order to deliver the business strategy and maximize the achievement of Safety, Quality and Delivery.

  • This role will be responsible for production performance reporting.

  • Adherence to production plan.

  • To ensure cycle times are adhered to and any deviations are reported, with reasons and resolution proposals.

  • Implementation of corrective actions to issues when the plan isn’t achieved.

  • To lead non-conformance reporting with root cause identified and actions to prevent re-occurrence and that relevant measures in place to demonstrate that the system is being adhered to.

  • Related to customer non-conformances.

  • Related to internal non-conformances.

  • Related to health and safety issues.

  • Related to Audit findings.

  • To propose and implement continuous improvements to achieve an annual rationalization % target.

  • To lead audits in the production environment to identify areas of weakness, improvement and to provide evidence for training effectiveness, whilst updating the training matrix for the area of responsibility.

  • To be part of a team to introduce and implement new products and processes, and to lead activities associated with the new product or process in the area of responsibility.

  • To promote good housekeeping practice through the adoption of 6S activities within the Department.

  • To lead activities through to closure of issues identified as areas of improvement from the 6S audits.

  • To ensure that Standard Operating Procedures are adhered to and followed at all times.

  • To audit, create and update when required SOP.

  • To support other Team Leaders as and when required for holiday and absence cover.

About You;

  • Experienced in an engineering / production environment.

  • Experience in using a MRP / ERP system.

  • Strong PC literacy skills using MS office.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • “Can do” attitude and approach.
