MTrec are currently recruiting for a well-established manufacturing firm based in the Gateshead area.
The Job You’ll Do;
Operate a range of machinery offloading cut timber i.e. auto crosscut saws, beam saws, vertical band saw, rip saw and wood working machines.
Pack a variety of items into crates and cases using hand tools and pneumatic nail guns.
Work to and complete job cards.
Assist with loading and unloading containers.
Deal with incoming goods and related paperwork.
Work offsite on customer premises, when required, to pack items into crates and cases.
Carry out regular, repetitive lifting and handling of in-process sawn timber.
Conduct general labouring and housekeeping responsibilities.
Work and adhere to the required quality standards.
Ensure that you work in a safe manner and comply with the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental Policy.
About You;
Used to working in a fast paced production environment.
Focused on quality and able to produce products to a high standard.
Working either independently or within a team.
Achieve team objectives.
Be consistent, accurate and ensure that procedures are followed.
Physically fit as some products are heavy.
