The Company
Our client is a market leading engineering company due to new business they require a Planner.
The Role
The role will plan and coordinate maintenance and engineering plans.
Maintaining efficient performance and engineering products availability.
Will support the company planning including materials, engineering capabilities and company time lines.
Ordering stock.
Forecasting any spares issues and ensuring health and safety documentation.
Support works order closure when technical issues arise.
Master data creation.
Provide general support to business helping to resolve issues and other ad-hoc requests.
The Person
This role requires a strong understanding of planning and inventory management.
Engineering knowlage would be benificial.
It also requires excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
A level (or equivalent) business qualification is desirable or proven work experience in a similar role.
Previous experience within a similar role.
Knowledge and experience working with Supply Chain KPI’s.
IT skills i.e. MS Office.
Customer orientated.
Ability to organise and prioritise.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Capacity for analytical thinking.
