The Job You’ll Do;
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery & equipment to a high standard
Adhere to the company’s HSE standards
Service and maintain equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and all production-related equipment
Support the installation of new equipment as required
Inspect and assess the functionality of production machinery
Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns efficiently
Adjust mechanical parts using hand and machine tools
Perform routine maintenance, safety checks, and inspections
Produce and submit comprehensive maintenance reports
Work collaboratively with all departments to achieve company objectives
Design and fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades
Communicate effectively with the production team and maintain a clean, organized work area
Assist with training and mentoring apprentices
Undertake facilities maintenance duties as required
About You;
Time served and ideally multi-skilled, although a slight bias towards Electrical or Mechanical is considered
Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above
Previous experience as an industrial maintenance technician or in an equivalent role
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems maintenance
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Basic computer and report writing skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment
Physical fitness
