  • 2x Shift System – Dayshift & Backshift

  • 6:00 – 14:30

  • 13:30 – 22:00

The Job You’ll Do;

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on machinery & equipment to a high standard

  • Adhere to the company’s HSE standards

  • Service and maintain equipment including motors, conveyor systems, transmission systems, and all production-related equipment

  • Support the installation of new equipment as required

  • Inspect and assess the functionality of production machinery

  • Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns efficiently

  • Adjust mechanical parts using hand and machine tools

  • Perform routine maintenance, safety checks, and inspections

  • Produce and submit comprehensive maintenance reports

  • Work collaboratively with all departments to achieve company objectives

  • Design and fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades

  • Communicate effectively with the production team and maintain a clean, organized work area

  • Assist with training and mentoring apprentices

  • Undertake facilities maintenance duties as required

About You;

  • Time served and ideally multi-skilled, although a slight bias towards Electrical or Mechanical is considered

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or above

  • Previous experience as an industrial maintenance technician or in an equivalent role

  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems maintenance

  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities

  • Basic computer and report writing skills

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment

  • Physical fitness
