Our clients are specialists in their industry sector, they are looking to recruit a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician with an Electrical bias on a permanent basis.

The Job you’ll do
Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing line machinery, facilities and equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This role ensures that all equipment operates at peak performance, adhering to safety and quality standards.
Preventive Maintenance:
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment.
Inspect, diagnose, and troubleshoot equipment issues.
Maintain detailed maintenance records and logs.
Experience with the following is a bonus:
6 axis robots (ABB), conveyor systems, air replacement system, gas burners, compressor, jig tooling.
Quickly identify and repair mechanical and electrical faults in machinery.
Work with the maintenance team to resolve equipment failures and minimize downtime.
Use diagnostic tools and software to pinpoint issues and implement solutions.
Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment.
Implement upgrades and modifications to improve equipment efficiency and reliability.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with company safety policies and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
Report any safety hazards or incidents to the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance performance.
Suggest and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Support PDCA, Kiazen and plant improvement activities.
Work closely with production, quality control, and engineering teams to ensure optimal performance.
Provide training and guidance to operators and other maintenance staff as needed.
About You
NVQ or equivalent maintenance technician certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of industrial equipment.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and maintenance software.
Knowledge of PLC programming and automation systems is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
