The Job You’ll Do;
Support Operational performance meetings as required.
Implementation of robust countermeasures to customer and operational concerns.
Carry out productivity analysis to improve products and processes.
Active involvement in the introduction of new products and manufacturing facilities.
Regular participation in improvement activities, on existing facilities and equipment.
Design, Manufacture and commission facility and fixture improvements.
About You;
Experience working within fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing.
Educated to a minimum of HNC level or equivalent.
The capacity to work under own initiative with minimal supervision.
Knowledge & familiarisation of Automotive Chassis products & processes used at Aycliffe plant.
A detailed knowledge of machining processes, associated tooling in an automated environment.
Proven experience in creating and modifying NC programmes using G & N Coding.
Knowledge of planning, lead-times and costs to determine effects of changes to products and processes.
Ability to organise personnel, products and processes to effective changes introduction.
Fully versed and experienced in the safe working practices required in a production/automated environment.
