Our client are specialists in their industry sector, they are looking for a Logistics Operator who has MRP experience to join them on a permanent basis.

The Job you’ll do

Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, this person will be an integral part of the company’s goods inward/outwards requirements.
This is a key role in a busy department which requires the applicant to be well-organised, flexible and able to work to tight deadlines.
We are looking for someone with previous experience in a warehouse environment, who can converse with colleagues at every level and has basic IT skills.
Experience of stock control would be beneficial.
IT/ system experience is essential as of the department developing with new systems & processes.
Packing products ready for shipping.
Booking goods in and out using the company’s MRP system.
Issuing stock to departments, booking in/out of MRP system.
Monitor and report discrepancies and non-compliances.
Loading/unloading vehicles with incoming/outgoing goods using a forklift truck.
General housekeeping duties.
Driving company vehicles on an ad-hoc basis.
Other shop floor and administrative duties as assigned by line manager.

About You

Forklift truck licence desirable (if you have an expired licence, the company will re-train in-house).
Good communication skills.
Full UK driving licence is essential.
Flexible approach to tasks.
Ability to use MS Outlook, Word and Excel & PC/Smart devices.
Experience of an ERP/MRP system.
