The Job You’ll Do;

  • Plan all site maintenance

  • Generate and communicate all maintenance / service plans as required

  • Prepare maintenance reports and documentation for the line manager

  • Respond to unplanned maintenance (breakdowns)

  • Generate site maintenance cost down projects

  • Drive project improvements in equipment, speed, cost reduction and quality

  • Perform maintenance tasks, along with the Technical support team

  • Resolve process problems through individual and team based continuous improvement activities

  • Source quotations and generate purchase requisitions for maintenance work 

  • Generate permits for all maintenance tasks on site

  • Manage maintenance contractors onsite

  • Review contractors RAMS (risk assessment and method statements) before they start work on site

  • Identify, report and repair deficiencies in equipment and systems throughout the site

  • Identify and source appropriate required equipment parts, quotations and requisitions

  • Demonstrate flexibility in working overtime

  • Maybe required to work non regular hours to accommodate business needs and act on calls in a timely fashion

  • Physical demands of the job – able to lift and move heavy or awkward objects safely

  • Work in compliance with HSE guideline

  • Able to work in restricted and confined spaces on occasion

About You;

  • Qualified to HNC level or equivalent industry experience

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of maintenance experience in a production/manufacturing environment

  • Good understanding of Health & Safety and able to complete Hazard and Near Miss reports

  • Strong Electrical & Hydraulic understanding with respects to fault finding is essential

  • Diagnose & Repair Mechanical and Electrical Faults

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Analysis of data in Excel for asset performance and costs

  • Demonstrate methodical approach with accuracy & attention to detail for all projects undertaken

  • Must be capable of prioritising and multi-tasking in a pressurised environment

  • Must be self-motivated, and capable of working within a group or individually

  • Able to read, interpret and update engineering drawings

  • Experienced in the use of handheld tools and specialized equipment
