Our client is an established and successful business based in Cramlington. They are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. If you meet the person specification for the role, please apply below.
The role you will be doing
Preparing and analysing financial data, with a focus on revenues, maintenance costs and labour spend
Supporting month end reporting, budgeting and payroll processing
Monitoring operational costs
Contributing to improving systems and processes
Providing wider administrative support where needed
About you
Part qualified or fully qualified (ACCA, CIMA, AAT or equivalent)
Proven experience in an accounting or finance role
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPS)
Familiar with general accounting software
Strong attention to detail
Have the ability to manage a varied workload
Proactive, team-oriented approach is key
