Our client is a successful and established business based in Blaydon. They are looking for a Receptionist to join their team on a full time, permanent basis. If you meet the person specification for the role, please apply below.
The job you will be doing
Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals
Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls, covering all group communications
Managing the reception area
Handling daily administrative tasks including managing calendars, scheduling meets and distributing correspondence
Maintaining security by following procedures, managing the digital visitor system and issuing visitor badges
Supporting departments with clerical duties as needed, including preparing documents, document scanning and maintaining records
Coordinating mail flow in and out of the office
Handling deliveries to the reception
About You
Previous experience as a receptionist or similar front office role
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience with administrative and clerical procedures
Excellent organisational skills with keen attention to detail
Experience with an ERP/MRP or CRM is advantageous
Ability to multitask and prioritise daily workload
