Our client are specialists in their industry sector; they are looking to recruit a Multi skilled Maintenance Electrician on a permanent basis.

The job you’ll do

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs on a range of extrusion, automation, plant and facilities equipment.

  • Diagnose and fault-find on electrical systems, including PLCs, control panels, drives, and motors

  • Mechanical maintenance tasks including hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and rotating equipment.

  • Minimise downtime and ensure plant efficiency.

  • Assist in continuous improvement and reliability projects.

  • Installation and commissioning of new capital equipment on-site.

  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company H&S procedures.

  • Maintain accurate maintenance records via MMS.

About You

  • Time-served apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering (essential).

  • Electrically biased with strong fault-finding skills.

  • Extensive experience within a manufacturing or similar industrial environment.

  • Knowledge of PLC fault finding (Siemens desirable).

  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations preferred.

  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.

  • Flexible approach to shift work (12-hour shifts including nights).

  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude.

  • Desire to progress within the organisation.
