The Company;
MTrec are currently recruiting for a prestigious manufacturing company based in the Durham area.
The Role;
Cutting, stripping, and preparing wires to specification
Crimping and assembling components using hand tools such as wire cutters
Inserting wires into cable heads accurately and efficiently
Operating air tools to seal cable casings
Carrying out dexterous assembly work with a high level of precision
Conducting quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards
Following all health and safety guidelines and procedures
Maintaining a clean and organised workspace
The Person;
Good attitude towards work and always looking to learn
Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, or a similar role is desirable but not essential
Experience using hand tools
Physically fit, can be standing at workbenches for majority of shift
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
Ability to follow instructions and technical specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
