The successful candidate with be responsible for the Health Safety and Environmental aspects of the organisation and all for assisting in daily site monitoring of all departments. The Job You’ll Do;

  • Daily site monitoring of all departments to ensure compliance and establish a healthy and safe working culture.
  • Investigate and attend all incidents that occur on site and collect all data accurately.
  • Required to create accurate reports.
  • Ensure that the organisational departments are compliant with current legislation, industry standards and company policies.
  • Manage and improve all management systems by identifying and resolving any issues.
  • Review and change company risk assessments.
  • Assist with writing, reviewing and implementing new processes/procedures.
  • Organise H&S committee meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental legislation and keep up to date with British, European Legislation.
  • Keep ISO 1400 standards relevant and up to date with the site’s activities and carry out and submit all weekly, monthly, bi-annual and annual ISO 14001 reports.
  • Develop and implement environmental management systems to continually improve the impact of the organisation on the environment.
  • Conduct staff training on Health, Safety and Environmental.

About You;

  • Experience within a HSE/similar role.
  • Primary degree subjects such as environmental and earth sciences, environmental engineering, or relevant field. Postgraduate degrees are increasingly required as specialisation in particular fields is advantageous.
  • NEBOSH Qualified.
  • Train the trainer qualification would be advantageous.
  • Competent IT Skills.
