Job Specification

The Role

• Working with a variety of machinery including brake presses and standard press machinery
• MIG welding of mild steel and stainless steel materials
• Following both basic engineering drawings and production plans
• Measuring and completing preparation work prior to starting the manufacturing process
• Quality inspections, including re-checking materials against production plans and measuring items
• Manually labouring including loading benches with materials prior to starting work
• General house keeping duties including work area tidy and clutter free
• Dealing with both batch work and bespoke products

The Person

• Must be able to work both individually for long period of time after training, and in a team
• Comfortable to do overtime during peak and busy spells
• Should be comfortable working on a day shift only role
• Must be interested in gaining a permanent contract after a 12 week probation period

The Hours

• Monday – Friday, 08:00 am – 16:30 pm
• Sunday – Thursday, 21:00 – 07:00 am

The Pay

• £9.50 per hour on day shift system
• £12.64 per hour on night shift system
