Job Specification

The Role

• As a Quality Engineer you will be overseeing everyday factory floor activities in order to train operators and ensure that the manufacturing process within the factory meets company standards (ISO9001 and ISO14001).
• Also act as a liaison between suppliers and customers. 
• You will also attempt to improve the standard of the manufacturing process.
• Using information collected from the operations and then applying problem-solving techniques to reduce defects and improve efficiency within the production process.
• Any customer complaints regarding the final product’s quality will be filtered through you, and whilst using your skills and knowledge.
• You will work directly within other departments to find the source of the problem, and implement corrective action to find a solution and maintain for future purposes.

The Person

• Previous experience working as a Quality Engineer.
• ISO9001 certified – essential.
• ISO14001 certified – desirable.
• Ability to liaise with customers/suppliers.
