The Role

• Responsible for people and safety first and foremost.
• Strict focus on quality, competitive advantage and continual improvement meeting customer needs and requirements.
• Maintain highest standards of Safety and Workplace Management.
• Drive capacity, service and quality improvement projects.
• Manage resource needs (training and development of team).
• Attend production/management and project meetings.
• Motivate, organize and encourage teamwork throughout the site.
• Timely preparation and readiness of materials, reports and documentation.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
• Support all continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support environmental, sustainability and waste management activity.
• Prepare, maintain and improve delivery schedule. 

The Person

• Previous experience in a production environment as a Production Manager is essential.
• Strong Leadership skills, keen to develop and drive improvement.
• Personal organisational and time management skills.
• An ability to work under pressure and flexible to business demands.
• Proven track record of consistently achieving KPI's.
• Excellent communication skills.
