Job Specification

The Role 

•             Senior operator required to share responsibility for running a fast-paced production area.

•             Duties include planning of packing lines and personnel utilisation.

•             Hands on man-management.

•             Monitoring and driving performance to deliver KPIs.

•             General administration and reporting.

The Person

•             Fast moving manufacturing background in a supervisory capacity preferred.

•             The ideal candidate will be well organised with exceptional people skills, ability to challenge and motivate and have at least intermediate PC skills (particularly excel) with good attention to detail and strong numeracy and literacy skills.

•             FLT (reach and counterbalance) is a bonus but not essential.

•             Happy to work 2 shift earlies and backs.

•             This role requires a high level of numeracy and literacy, first class organisational skills.

•             The ability to plan and prioritise and excellent communication skills. 

•             The ideal candidate will be a self-starter but also able to work well as part of the production team.
