Our client is a global leader in the medical equipment market. To help maintain their equipment they now require a Field Service Engineer.

Job Specification

The Role

  • Ensure service assistance and operational requirements as directed for customer satisfaction and achievement of department goals.
  • This role will cover medical devices used in hospitals.
  • Performs scheduled maintenance visits and corrective repairs as directed on safety and medical devices.
  • Performs warranty repairs as directed on safety and medical devices.
  • Performs installation and commissioning activities as directed on safety and medical devices.
  • Performs technical corrective actions as directed on safety and medical devices.
  • Completes required company documentation such as electronic test procedures as necessary.
  • Provides feedback of the quality situation and issues from field to the Service Management.

The Person

  • Relevant experience is ideal with medical equipment.
  • Ideal location to be based is Greater Manchester as the role will cover M62 corridor.
  • HNC or equivalent in electronic/electrical engineering or related subject is preferred.
  • Applicants for the position should have proven experience over a wide range of capital equipment & systems. Ideally with experience of medical or safety related devices and background.
  • Able to deliver a high level of customer care and develop long standing customer relationships.
  • Ability to organise and prioritise to meet a wide range of diverse and demanding activities.
