MTrec are a currently recruiting for a specialist, established and renowned, windows, doors and curtain wall manufacturer based in the Tyne and Wear area, in this role there is an opportunity for career progression within the firm
Job Specification
The Role
- Working with an engineering department, based in the aluminium fabrication section
- Following basic engineering drawing and diagrams for instructing the building of the products
- Using hand tools, power tools, for building components up to the correct specification
- Cutting, grinding, linishing and general preparation of aluminium products
- Completing quality inspections ensuring items are within precision tolerances, highlighted on the drawing and specifications
- Manually labouring and moving products on to benches
- Excellent health and safety practices
The Person
- Previous experience in the aluminium fabrication industry
- Good understanding of drawing and diagrams
- Positive and “can do” attitude, with good time keeping

- Monday – Thursday, 07:30 am – 16:30 pm (Friday hours vary 07:00 am – 16:00 pm
