Company Description
MTrec are currently recruiting for a specialist and renowned Birtley manufacturing firm, who are looking for operators who can be trained and ultimately receive a permanent contract after the training period has been completed
Job Specification
The Role
- Following basic engineering drawings and plans
- Operation of a variety of machinery and being trained ultimately set the machinery
- Completing quality inspections on all materials and marking defects
- Previous experience with setting machinery would be advantageous
- General tidying of the production area
- Packing and labelling on products when machine has fully completed the products
The Person
- Should have previous experience within manufacturing
- Willing to work permanent day shift, initially but will be expected to go a day and night rotation after a weeks training
- Flexible to assist with overtime

The Hours
- Monday – Friday, 06:00 am – 14:00 pm
- Monday – Friday, 14:00 pm – 22:00 pm
- Monday – Friday, 22:00 pm – 06:00 am
The Pay
- £9.80 per hour raising to £10.40 after training completed
