MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected Manufacturing company based in Middlesbrough. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for a position as a Factory Labourer / Machine Operative.
Please be aware for this job role you need to have some experience.
Job Specification
The Role
- Working in a fast paced environment
- Responsible for doing weld preparation work
- Safely operating machinery
- Cutting, burning and grinding materials
- Safely using a variety of hand tools and equipment to manufacture products
- Using machinery in accordance with Health and Safety
- Adhering to manual handling protocols at all times
The Person
- Flexible to work over time if required
- Proactive and work by their own initiative
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Experience in a fabricating environment or engineers shop would be beneficial
- Experience using hand tools is essential
- Comfortable with manual handling

The Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm (This may be slightly staggered due to the onsite Covid policy)
- Friday: 6.00am – 2.00pm (also may be normal 7am)
- Please be prepared to work shifts 06:00am - 14:00pm / 14:00pm - 22:00pm
The Pay
- Days: £9 per hour
- Backs: £10 per hour (if applicable)
- Nights: £11 per hour (if applicable
