MTrec Recruitment is proudly representing our well established and highly prestigious engineering client in their search to appoint an experienced Senior CNC Operator to ensure the smooth running of their production area, set, operate and programme CNC machine and oversee their small warehouse, perform stock checks and liaise with customers and suppliers. Job Specification

The Role

  • Ensure all customer jobs are planned.
  • Using Coral Draw, perform basic designs where needed.
  • Working with a variety of materials.
  • Using a variety of machines to cut and shape the material.
  • Using pre-set instructions, perform basic machine programming.
  • Set and Operate Laser machines.
  • Check the quality of the finished parts.
  • Perform stock checking duties.
  • Liaise with customers and suppliers.
  • Working day shift, Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00.

The Person

  • Experienced in setting and operating CNC machines.
  • Ideally you will have Laser Machine experience.
  • You will have experience of using design software.
  • You will be IT literate and be able to perform basic machine programming.
  • You will be able to set and operate machinery.
  • Possess the ability and/or experience to perform stock checks and control within a small warehouse.
  • Looking to grow and progress with an SME business.
